R.I.P. Google Reader. Welcome Bloglovin'!

E' vero. Google farà fuori Reader, l'attrezzo per leggere i blog tutti in un posto. Dal 1° luglio 2013, non ci sarà più e-- ATTENZIONE!!-- tutti i dati di Reader saranno persi per sempre! Quindi chi legge ora, o l'ha fatto in passato, i blog con Reader deve trasferire tutti i blog che segue da un'altra parte entro quella data.

Yep. Google's getting rid of Reader, a tool for reading all your favorite blogs in one place. As of July 1st, 2013, it will be no longer and-- BEWARE!!-- all of your Reader feeds will be lost forever! So anyone who reads blog posts with Reader now, or has in the past, will have to transfer all the blogs they follow somewhere else before that date.

Se ho capito bene, il reader di Blogger rimane, ma si vedranno *solo* i blog aggiunti manualmente in quella pagina, non quelli importati da Reader. Non è molto chiaro che rimmarrà Google Friend Connect o no. In ogni caso, è meglio trasferire tutti i feed da un'altra parte.

If I've understood correctly, the reader in Blogger will still be there, but *only* the blogs manually entered in that page will stay there, not those imported from Reader. It's not very clear whether or not Google Friend Connect will continue to exist or not. In any case, it's best to transfer all your feeds somewhere else.

Ce ne sono molti programmi e siti dove puoi leggere i blog che segui tutti in un posto. Continuo a sentir parlare bene di Feedly, e sembra che è anche molto semplice trasferirci i feed da Reader. Ma a me piace molto Bloglovin', un reader molto usato fra i blogghisti, e ho cominciato ad usarlo anch'io.

There are lots of programs and websites where you can read all the blogs you follow in one place. I've heard a lot of people talk well of Feedly, and it seems it's quite simple to transfer feeds  there from Reader. But I really like Bloglovin', a reader which is much used amongst bloggers, and I've started using it as well.

Sopra si vede come si presenta la home page dei tuoi feed. Per aggiungere i blog, si possono importare direttamente da Google Reader o altri reader in questa pagina, cercarli in alto a destra o cliccare sull'icona quando si vede da un blog che ti interessa. Si possono creare categorie per i diversi blog o renderne alcuni privati.

You can see above what the home page of your feeds looks like. To add blogs, you can import them directly from Google Reader or other readers in this page, search for them in the upper right of the screen or click on the icon when you see it on a blog you're interested in. You can create categories for different blogs or make some of them private.

Si possono visualizzare i post o per data o per blog, e anche aggiustare la dimensione delle immagini.

You can sort the posts by date or by blog and also  adjust the image size.

Puoi anche trovare altri blog che ti interessano sfogliando o i blog o i post divisi in tante categorie. C'è anche un app per iphone e smartphone.

You can also find other blogs you're interested in by browsing either blogs or posts in various categories. There's also an app for iphone and smartphones.

Poi quando ti interessa un post, ci clicchi e vedi la pagina del sito sotto un header di bloglovin', in cui puoi facilmente girare fra i post di quel blog (o cambiare blog con un menu a sinistra), segnalare che ti piace quel post e condividere con i social media. La cosa più bella è che si può commentare direttamente come si farebbe normalmente e, anche se stai ancora su bloglovin', i clicchi valgono come visite per il blog, cosa importante per la statistica del proprio sito.

Then when you're interested in a post, click on it and you'll see the website page under a bloglovin' heading, through which you are able to click amongst the posts of that blog (or switch blog in the menu to the left), like posts and share on social media. The nicest thing is that you can comment directly on the post as you normally would and, even if you're still on bloglovin', the clicks get counted towards the blog's visits, which is very important for one's website's stats.

Allora, se pensi che ti possa interessare questo reader, iscriviti e, se hai un blog, clicca su "my blog" e poi "claim blog" nell'account, così potrai vedere anche le stats tue su bloglovin' e cambiare la foto in miniatura del blog. Aggiungi i tuoi blog preferiti, o da Reader o nei altri modi che ho descritto sopra. Cucicucicoo si trova qui su bloglovin'! (edit: per informazioni più dettagliate in lingua italiano su come funziona, leggete questo post di Alex.) Va benissimo se preferisci un altro reader, basta che importi i feed di Google Reader nel nuovo reader prima del 1° Luglio!

So, if you think that this particular reader could be right for you, sign up and, if you have a blog, click on "my blog" and then "claim blog" in your account, that way you can see your blog's stats on bloglovin' and change your blog's thumbnail. Add your favorite blogs, either from Reader or in the other ways I described above. You can find Cucicucicoo here on bloglovin'! (edit: if you want more detailed info in Italian on how it works, read this post of Alex's.) That's totally cool if you prefer another reader, but the important thing is that you import your Google Reader feeds into another reader before July 1st!
