segnalazione di libri sui craft ecologici - a bit about ecological craft books

prima di tutto, vorrei fare gli auguri a tutte voi mamme! lo so che li faccio un po’ in ritardo, ma il mio regalo a me stessa ieri era di non fare un bel niente, e quindi niente lavoro, un pochino di crafting e un bel po’ di dormire! spero che avete passato tutte quante una bellissima giornata piena di amore!

first of all, i’d like to send all my best wishes to all you mammas out there! i know i’m a bit late, but my gift to myself yesterday was to not do anything, so no work, a bit of crafting and a lot of sleeping! i hope that you all had a wonderful day full of love and laughter!

 
secondo, vorrei scusarmi per l’assenza non solo su questo mio blog, ma anche leggendo quelli degli altri. è un periodo che ho difficoltà a seguire tutto per diversi motivi, ma lo so che siete tutti molto comprensivi! :)

 

second, i’d like to excuse myself for my absence not only from my blog, but also from reading other peoples’ blogs. this has been a moment that i’ve been having a hard time managing to get things done for a few different reasons, but i know that you’re all very understanding! :)

uno dei motivi per cui non ho scritto è che sono stata impegnata con fatti più “pratici” e quindi non ho avuto il tempo per creare qualche cosa di nuovo, nonostante mi frullino in testa tantissime idee! recentemente ho ordinato diversi libri da amazon su cose da cucire e craft. e vorrei farvi sapere di 3 libri in particolare che ho comprato che parlando del riciclare la “spazzatura” per creare delle cose bellissime e utili. tutti e 3 libri sono in lingua inglese.

one of the reasons why i haven’t been writing is that i’ve been quite busy with “practical” things and so i haven’t had any time to create anything new, despite the fact that i have tons of ideas running around in my head! i recently ordered a bunch of books from amazon about sewing and craft projects. and i’d like to let you all know about 3 books in particular that i bought about recycling “trash” to create beautiful and useful objects. all three books are in english.

 

 Craftcycle, Heidi Boyd. questo libro è meraviglioso, mi ha fatto proprio impazzire di gioia! contiene più di 100 idee per riciclare tantissime materiali di scarto quotidiano (e non solo). ci sono alcune idee che si vedono molto spesso in giro, ma la maggior parte dei progetti sono proprio geniali! dei 3 libri che vi segnalo qui, questo è il mio preferito.

Craftcycle, Heidi Boyd. this book is just awesome and made my brain go into overload! it has more than 100 ideas for recycling lots of different materials that you throw out daily (and not only). there are some ideas that you see around relatively frequently, but most of the project are pure genius! of the 3 books that i’m writing about here, this is my favorite.

 
eco craft, susan wasinger.  anche questo libro è notevole e ha certe idee di riciclaggio creativo incredibili. il libro è anche molto bello da guardare. l’unico motivo per cui preferisco craftcycle è perché questo libro ha “solo” 30 progetti, ma ne voglio provare diversi di questo numero.

eco craft, susan wasinger.  this book is also pretty incredible and has some really amazing creative recycling ideas. the book is also very pretty to look at. the only reason why i prefer craftcycle is because this book has “only” 30 projects, but i want to try out quite a few of them.

rubbish! reuse your refuse, kate shoup. quando ho letto le recensioni di questo libro prima di comprarlo, ho visto una persona che ha scritto che il libro è proprio come il titolo: “rubbish” (cioè, spazzatura). ero comunque incuriosita e l’ho comprato lo stesso, ma devo dire che mi ha deluso un po’. molte delle idee sono scontatissime o un po’ brutte (ad esempio la targa fatta da lattine con il numero civico della abitazione che quasi non si riesce a decifrare il numero). consiglierei invece i primi due libri segnalati, che ti riempieranno di idee meravigliose!

rubbish! reuse your refuse, kate shoup. when i was reading reviews about this book before buying it, i noticed one reader who said it is just like the title: “rubbish.” i was still curious and bought it anyway, but i have to say that it did disappoint me somewhat. a lot of the ideas are not very creative or are even a bit ugly (like the address placard made out of aluminum cans that you can’t even make out the number on). i would suggest that you check out the first two books i mentioned here, which will fill your brain with all sorts of amazing ideas!
